Leichhardt has a bit of an old school charm and viewing was fine but was similar to some of the smaller NZ regional Stadiums such as Yarrow stadium in New Plymouth, FNG in Palmy etc. Brookvale again fine but a similar level to Kogarah and Shark Park where it’s definitely unmistakably ‘suburban’.

I think the smaller kiwi stadiums have more stands than leichardt or kogarah

Png is a lock but it will be cairns based

I'm not saying i agree with it, but i would suggest with the money on offer it would be difficult to turn it down.
A bonus for having a PNG team based in Cairns would be the increase in junior development there, and possibly opening the gate for a future NRL club there.

why would we want a future NRL club in Cairns when they already have one?
