Our best chance is to bat, bat and bat..get 220 ahead (saturday is going to rain) and set them 220-250 to save the match on the last day.

I will say this, those Pommie spinners are terrible

This test match is the one England are expected to win on a wicket favoured to them, 2 spinners, us no spinners, winning the toss etc...If they lose this test, we are looking good at Lords (where Clark is a must).

Potentially 2-0 up in the series and the poms are gonski :D

First things first. We just have to bat normally today if we can (ie. no KP type shots). Then try and bat a good part of tomorrow. We dont really want to bat on the last day, not chasing over 150 at least

Ponting, Katich, Mussey, Clarke, Haddin and Johnson are all smart cricketers, unlike certain South Ekfrika come former England captains who entered themselves into the Mike Gatting hall of fame on day one - I would expect to see no brain snaps tonight.

The ground isnt huge, the straight boundaries are postage stamp like, and the outfield is very quick. If Australia bat moderately they should score 300 in a day.

If I was Australia id still be reestablihsing the innings tommorow, knowing things can change quite quickly. Id be batting to mid afternoon day 4 if we could, which is a big ask and not as easy as said, but if we could I would, or id get a 250 lead if possible, which to be fair would encounter us scoring 700 so is once again another huge ask, probably out of the question.

I think he has to be aiming for atleast 600, bat them out of the game then ask them to bat for a near 2 days to save the gameand the way our bowlers have been we'll need near 2 days.

I not sure which commentator it was I think it may have been Bumble? After the 1st day he said something like "this wicket is not a century making wicket"

Talk about arrogent pricks, hope we make 800 and Punter scores 400 not out

On the first day of the Lions match at Tea Bumble was crapping on about how Australia will take zero confidence into the match and how England were cruising based on their position in their game.....how quickly things turned during one session.

Rodney Hogg said that PB..to say it was a shocker is an understatement!

Go Haurie by the way, 3-90 odd compared to the Pommie pie chuckers!

And not even you had the balls to put him in your fantasy side. You show no loyalty at times Locky which disappoints me to say the least.

Great batting by Punter and the Kat, seriously how good has the Kat been since his comeback???? Awesome stuff, we we're terrible in the field last night but their batting has rectified that.
