Lol, the Bopara one definitely looked plumb. The girly-men are at it again. No wonder why they make losing an art form.

Poor Cooky again, he has disappointed me

No lighting a cigarette for locky in this test

I think McGill is just nervous as host, Give him some time he will grow in confidence

If the weather holds, we could force a win here, going into Lords where we play real well and havet lost in centuries is looking good

Haurie to bag a 5 for today

That was yesterdays forecast

well when I looked at it on Sky UK that was sundays forecast aswell. At least it was listed as 'Todays' forecast with Monday the following forecast.

But looking at it now it has changed , looks like there may only be a little bit of rain around Midday.

Does anyone know how long the match can be extended by?

We will be able to bowl out that sorry lot with half a day.

I must say I am extremely impressed with our team. Not only did a few of them get centuries, but the bowling and fielding was with enthusiasm and plenty of chatter. This is a team on a mission.

Ponting declaring on Haddin's wicket was also a good decision.

I love how Poms are proudly praying and hoping for rain. Love the heartlessness.

I said this yesterday but Ill say again, why does cricket not have a common sense rule where we start earlier here. Everyone disagreed but i still dont see the logic.

Weve already lost 4 hours cricket and are set to lose alot more. You can say we will play later on in the night, but why not give yourself the opportunity to have both to give yourself the best chance to get the adequate amount of overs in. To me its just like the rule where the first 90 minutes of a session is washed out, you go on for 30 minutes, then you take lunch... dumb.

Just seems silly to me.

Untill all overs have been bowled, although obviously light could be a factor if its overcast late in the day, but on the final day all allocated overs must be bowled, mostly there to stop teams going slow and denying teams their overs, but there is no set stumps time so to speak

Probably be 105 overs available today as I'm pretty sure they cant add on more than 15 overs or 1 hour each day

The sillier thing for me is playing in cardiff in the first place

They showed a chart during the game, Cardiff has the worst yearly precipitation from that neck of the woods

Not only that, it moved a marquee test match in a marquee series for the first time to a ground untried in test cricket

I agree mate, but they payed 4 million pounds for the game. as they say money speaks all languages. Hopefully the rain doesn't cost us a great win.
