Don't try and sugarcoat it.... Our top order were a disgrace in this test. We were 1-110. We should have pissed it in with ease. If we had even a single class innings by anyone in the top 6 there wouldn't have been a problem.

Our bowlers set us very easy tasks in both innings, but if not for our lower order we'd have lost this test by 200 runs

Yep the top order was bad. I don't understand why they insist on playing away from their bodies in England.

Finn is a plonker and Broad is inconsistent. See off Anderson and treat Swann with respect and England aren't unbeatable. Cook is also terrified of aggressive batting and will react to it.

So why just dangle the bat at the ball weakly.
