Perhaps if we had any idea who our top six batsman were prior to this match we might have won

FFS our side has been woefully mismanaged since the last ashes series when we named like twenty players for the first test at the gabba

If this match proves one thing, it's that out and out cheating wins matches.

If I were English, I'd be f**king ashamed to have won in such a fashion. The fact that they are celebrating the fact that they won solely by cheating just goes to show what a low, scummy, despicable, cretinous society they are.

f**king parasitic worms.
Are you saying Haddin wasn't out?

correct call that Haddin dismissal, congrats to the poms

what was supposed to be a walkover for the poms, was almost 1-0 down

we need to make it 1-1 next week, otherwise it could get nasty

Aussies problem are the top 6. Even Clarke hasn't had a good run since his opening test century in India. Can't remember the last time an Australian batting line up struggled to convert starts to anything substantial as much as this one does.

Convenient how you forgot Agar was out in the first innings for less than 15 and was wrongly not given and went onto make 98.
There was definite proof he was out???? The umpy wasn't quite sure and gave him BOTD. Classless pommy merkin.

As least Tommy isn't a total trolling spastic.

Despite our top order resembling a pile of shit there was only 15 runs in it.

Bring on the 2nd test.

snicko confirms was out

Broad the cheating merkin is what cost us the game
Did you not see Haddin also stand is ground after hitting it?

It wasnt a good look for Broad but (unfortunately) any international cricketer would do that.

Good knock by Haddin though, didnt think he was capable of that sort of performance anymore. Hope his keeping improves next game though

How do you come back from losing in that fashion? He hit it, but getting so close and losing. I fear a comprehensive defeat at Lord's, not because the Poms are great (they are anything but), but just the mental let down after losing in that way.

Great test from a neutral perspective, I honestly didn't really care who won but the whole test was great viewing regardless.

The DRS did have a big say but the poor umpiring is what brought it more into the spotlight. Broad was obviously out but I also thought Agar was pretty clearly out for his stumping as well. Haddin was clearly out and once the emotions are taken out of it it was actually fairly obvious.

That said, anyone still whinging about Broad not walking is embarrassing themselves.

Shaping up to be a great series, bring on the next test.

Australia were lucky to have come 14 runs close to victory. Agar pretty much saved our a** in our first batting innings or else we would have lost by 100+ runs. We just need our batsmen to click and we should be good for the next match
