Siddle is out, Clarke in doubt, Warner added to the squad

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,24908711-5006069,00.html
RISING Australian paceman Peter Siddle has been ruled out of the one-day series against South Africa with a stress fracture in his foot.
Siddle, the man of the match in the third Test win over the Proteas at the SCG, has been replaced by Queensland swing bowler Ryan Harris for the first two matches in the five-game series.
Twenty20 sensation David Warner is also poised to be a late inclusion in the one-day squad with vice-captain Michael Clarke in doubt with a thumb injury.
Clarke is due to have an assessment on his right thumb in Melbourne on Wednesday and Warner, who hit 89 off 43 balls in his international debut on Sunday at the MCG, has been placed on standby.
Team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris reported Siddle has been playing with pain in his left foot which grew worse during the 2-1 Test series loss to South Africa.
"After the series was completed, we investigated and scans revealed the early signs of mild stress on a bone in his left foot," Kountouris said in a statement.
"As such, Peter needs a short period of rest before resuming bowling which we anticipate will be in a further two weeks.
"He is expected to take part in the one-day series against New Zealand in February."

Yeah they were good ones. (I have an Aussie shirt from the 99 World Cup) though would the Kiwis wanna wear aqua?

Go back to the ealry 80's then, and have the Kiwi's wearing two colours brown. And the Windies in Grey and Maroon.

Yeah those new ones arent the best to put it mildly.

Also Michael Clarke has passed a fitness test and will play. So it looks like Boy Wonder will miss out.

all nations should forever be forced to wear the 99 world cup strips

Nah mate. Nothing beats the Mid-90's WSC strips with the vertical bars.

Still wear this out to matches:

As far as changing the kits. 1 reason they do it. Its called Merchendising. Where the real money from the sport is made.

if warner does get a game at all he'll probably play in sydney ... most likely against the kiwis when it's time to "rotate"

obviously

but the current one is terrible

our kits for the most part over the last 20 years have been pretty good ... nothing too shabby but this is god awful ... just doesn't look right

tom shines' strip is good too only i liked the australia a one better because i had one :D ... and the 96 world cup one was good too
