Wonderful stroke that from McCullum. Gee, if Herath doesn't cut down the scoring and/or take wickets, NZ could be on track for an absolutely mammoth total here.

This is quite sensational from McCullum. Unusual stroke from him in terms of his general arsenal, very tall position to hit that ball straight over mid off. Usually he's slapping the ball. Outstanding batsmanship yet again.

Wow, Gups. I love it when blokes are hitting the ball in the air off the front foot with drive like strokes. There's few better than him when he's hitting through the ball off the front foot.

Well, that seemed a little bit silly from McCullum, given there was a long off. Another 10 overs of these two playing normally at 5-6 an over and I'd nearly say all over red rover. This is him to a tee, great starts, and then you just wonder how he got himself out...

All good things must come to an end. Smart catch from Mendis. Top innings from McCullum.

Yeah, but I'll take that. His innings has totally disrupted Sri Lanka's rhythm and bowling plans.

Surely thats a load of bollocks - Kane Williamson is only the 76th best bat according to these graphics.

Yup... Threw his wicket away...

But that's him... He's pretty much done his job with the bat...

I'm interested to see if Guptil will go harder now...

Yeah I saw those ratings... how on earth do they get it so wrong? Its quite embarrassing that the producers basically approved these graphics which are blatantly badly wrong.

Gee, looking at Kane so far, you wouldn't expect he's just come off a mass output of runs. He looks really anxious.
