I for one don't applaud Bananaman's send off, he didn't take the wicket or the catch. If Notch had given him a go or Bailey or Clarke fair enough. Siddle has a habit of getting involved in things he's got no business in, he's league's equivalent of Sam Thirdguy.

Anyway, excellent win by Australia. Notch fired up for once. Flipperhands was excellent with his 94 in the first dig getting us to a respectable score. Teeny and SuperCaptain took the game away from them, Rhino and Tiger bowled well too.

Apart from Broad and Cook England were weak as piss tbh. Cook battled away but once he went the rest melted like butter. Broad is class and tougher than I thought.
Tremlett isn't worth feeding these days and Trott, Prior and KP are in bad form.

England's batting in the winter series was pretty shite. Don't think they made 400 once.

It was all down to Bell's 3 tons and Root's arsey innings which apart from that he looks flat out hitting the ball off the square.

Apart from that we were all over them.

The weather saved their sews a few times in the winter series too

This was always the leg of the ashes to win given whoever wins here gets ultimate bragging rights. I like the way we sealed the deal but if England are worthy champs then they will hit back hard in Adelaide.

Pressure on Ungerland to deliver in Adelaide.

A drop in pitch changes everything we know about Adelaide, so winning the toss and batting first there may not be the advantage it once was.

If Australia manages to win in Adelaide. We celebrate the ashes return next test in Perth and a 5-0 series result becomes reality

We coped a lot of sledging from the poms when we were down and out, and from barny army songs, when returned serve the poms just cry to the umpires and we are called ugly aussies once more.

Don't you love the hypocrisy?

Your an idiot. Of all the sledging that has happened in cricket since the very first test match, what Clarke said would be considered tame compared to what has been said before

It was fair advice from Clarkey come to think of it. Johnson had already almost breoke Tremlett's arm with a bouncer

FFS where did I say I was condemning him for saying it? I have no problem with a bit of verbal warfare in the middle. I have nothing against what he said, I was just making the point that it wasn't directly comparable to anything the English have said.

How the f**k would you know what the poms have said? Pup was heard by a mic and that's the only reason it's left the pitch
