And promptly nick off thirteen times for another average of 14.74 in England.

We need to move on from Warner unless he's knocking the door down.
He's a moron but one of the two world class batsmen we had. Agree he'll need some lead-in shield form but unless this side magically becomes decent with the bat between now and the ashes it's a pretty huge call to leave him out. He could improve his poor record over there with some hard work. Or he could keep batting without a brain in English conditions and make that shitty record even worse..

Bancroft comes available soon. Too late for this series, but he was starting to get it before getting himself suspended.
If he scores some runs in the shield he could be given a shot against Sru Lanka.

Wait... do we even play any shield games leading tp Sri Lanka. Bloody hell, no wonder we've forgotten how to play test cricket.

Don’t we have have any batsmen in Australia that can perform?

Twizzle, Bazal, hineyrulz, Matt23, Hutty1986?

Step up you merkins!
Unfortunately I'm a bowler not a batter, and I announced my unavailability after Michael Beer's selection.

been a great test match to date in my opinion
we should go to scoring close or thereabouts to what india did
so even stevens coming to rd 2 (2nd innings)

SMarsh fails 2nd did - rubber stamped
Finch Fails in 2nd dig - rubber stamped

Bring in Burns is a must

Test batting world over has declined in direct correlation with the rise of T20 trash.

Finch is opening for Australia. Shaun, Mitch and Stan Marsh are batting 2nd drop at times.

Moeen Ali is batting no.3 for England. And beyond that we play with half a dozen all rounders because we only have two quality Test batsmen.

But don't worry because T10 cricket is gathering momentum and I'm sure that'll shift the balance back towards rewarding correct techniques and building an innings.

Man after yesterday and his chat I wanted to dislike Rishabh Pant... But in this interview he comes across as really quite likeable and thankful to be where he is and now I'm angry

Renshaw and Burns LOL hardly first class standard.

QLD in all sorts in the latest round of the shield;

QLD 8/86 vs Tasmania 167 (Matt Wade 63)

http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/...ueensland-18th-match-sheffield-shield-2018-19

When Matt Wade is scoring most runs you know batting in this country is at an all time low..

Burns has been solid, 3 half centuries in the first 5 shield games. Averages 40 in FC cricket, most of our top order average below that

Or do you want to keep first class test failures like Finch and Marsh in the side?

40 you say? That’s really average if pushing for a test spot.

Edit - 3 half centuries wow get him in that test side pronto

Edit 2 - Joe Burns has played 25 test innings and hasn’t yet reached 1000 test runs. He’s had his chance, next.

The answer is to get rid of 50 over cricket but only if that time is then split between tests and more 20/20 nonsense

I asked you a question, regarding Finch and SMarsh

I gather you must like them in the side doing single digits scores lol
