I love this pitch. It’s a million times better than the roads we have produced
Watch India take a 500 run first innings lead over the weekend. Sunday afternoon declaration, and then a great aussie collapse on Monday.

On the bright side, SMarsh will continue his streak of getting out in single figures. He could set a record that will never be broken. Good for him. Immortalized forever.

If Finch & Marsh fail again I’d go for a lineup like this in the second test

(I know Finch did well against Pakistan, but I honestly don’t think he has the footwork for test cricket)

Burns
Harris
Khawaja
Handscomb
Patterson
Head

Michael Clarke needs to offer to come out of retirement to save us if we only ask him.

We need a Marshmallow appreciation thread where we can discuss arse abscesses and the batting achievements of the great man. Congratulations on being the first Australian 'batsman' in 130 years to string together six consecutive single-digit Test scores.

Definitely two paced, not many shots played down the ground.

With that said, Adelaide Oval does have the longest straight boundaries in the world (well, at least it did when the boundary was the fence, but even then, can't think of too many other grounds with 90 yard straight boundaries to the rope)

Comments like this remind me how unfair it was the great Rob of Quiney never got more chances. He could've beaten that record with two hands tied behind his thigh guard.

On Renshaw's non Australian conditions form and his past English summer form he should be there with Harris.... Maybe. Just not Finch.... Would be happy to see Harris and Renshaw given a red hot crack in front of Finch and OLED ever again at the top of the order....
