Obviously Khawaja and co will want the bowlers to get the team home, but as Australia inch closer and closer towards the possibility of a win, it'll make a loss feel more bitter for the batsmen (and rightly so), should it occur.

Over 2 innings.

Finch- 11 runs
Khawaja- 34 runs
Marsh- 62 runs
Handscomb- 48 runs

All decidedly below average. If they had just done a little more....
It's probably already time for Langer to unpack those mirrors and plant them in front of a few batsmen.

Well can't really blame Starc we still needed around 100 and we wouldn't have got close if he left everything.

Once again the lower order showing how poor our top order is.

Tail enders are in the team to take wickets with their bowling, not to constantly bail out the top order with their batting.

When the latter is the case, the top 6 batting lineup needs an overhaul.

Lol who else but Mitchell Southee with the rash stroke. We were never getting near this score. Weakest Australian top and middle order in about 40 years.

Worse then the mid 80's when everyone f*cked off on a rebel tour to South Africa?
