we are terribly lucky Ohja isn't out there. We would've been minced meat on toasted overs ago. Sadly he'll definitely get picked in the next test.

Ishant Sharma....far out...isn't this the same Ishant Sharma who hit 155km/h or so in the 2007 Boxing Day Test and roughed up Ricky Ponting in a brilliant spell of bowling as a then 19 year old? What a fall from grace he's taken since then. Completely fallen off the radar

Have to admit I didn't think moises was a great selection but has been terrific. If Cowan had have converted either of his starts...taken that catch...if Hughes could bat we could have had a decent chance to win this, despite Dhoni's amazing knock

I want Henriques penned into the #6 slot for the next decade.

If he can bat like this on this pitch he can bat anywhere. Kid can bat, handy bowler. We have ourselves someone tailor made for the #6 position.

That's stumps...

I think we have batted alright to be honest. It was the shithouse bowling display that has lost us the match. Will be at uni for the conclusion (presumably) but hopefully these two can stick around. Would be nice to see us bowling at something around 100 even though I know it's a fantasy.

The 1st innings was his first ever test bat in India. The 2nd innings he got a vicious ball in the first over he faced.

To say he can't bat after 1 poor innings and 1 bit of bad luck is ridiculous. How short are peoples memories. In our summer he was the best Australian batsman not named Michael.

Clarkies ton was good, but i'm rating Mighty Miracle Moises' current knock above it..even if he misses his ton..

It's Hussey-like..

And it's being done when the pitch is at it's worst..

stumps...lead by 40. We somehow produce a miracle, survive the first session tomorrow (25-30 overs) and replicate the Dhoni/Kumar partnership and there'll be several nervous Indian supporters in the stands.

The fact that our 10th wicket partnership has been the highest of the innings is an absolute disgrace.

Watson....well, he either performs as a batsman or is given the arse. Now that he refuses to bowl, he has to be solely judged on his batting performances and not for his potential as an all-rounder. None of this selfish "I refuse to bowl" and then say "please keep me in the side because I have the potential to bowl". Nope! You either have one or the other. Undoubtedly one of the most selfish cricketers to ever wear the Baggy Green and to think that he could potentially lead the side if Clarke's out makes me sick.

Our whole side is in complete disarray. Clarke is the only solid batsman in our lineup (although Henriques two 50s in this innings has given me some hope). Our top 4 though is the major problem - 3 with a T20 mindset and one emulating Geoffrey Marsh's antics but only averages just over 30 after 15 tests. Clarke really needs to bat further up the order at either 3 or 4. He can't keep coming in at 3 down after regular top order collapses and then expect him to bail us out. I don't know if he's going to eventually crack under pressure now that he doesn't have Hussey to help him out. Oh how us Aussie supporters took him for granted.

The other major problem is our bowling lineup. I'm struggling to see how our current lineup is going to get 20 wickets in a test on a regular basis.

Looks like we've finally unearthed another batsman who has some idea of how to play spin. I thought Clarke would be the only one on this tour but Moises is a revelation. I saw someone mention earlier that Moises will be dropped for Maxwell. No freakin way. If Henriques gets dropped for the next test after his performance here, I'm done with Australian cricket. I'll stop watching until the panel gets the arse.

If anyone will go, i think it'll be Siddle for Doherty. You simply don't need three dedicated pacemen in India. Especially with Enriques in the side.

Henriques has signed his ticket to the Ashes in this test and so he should have. Bloody brilliant display from him. He has always had the talent but whether or not he earned the selection is another matter. Glad he took his opportunity and now I hope he goes on with it.
