I think these get over analysed, that’s 1000% a catch and so are most of those they get reviewed

I don't necessarily disagree. But I suppose the counter is that if the famous Starc catch wasn't out then neither is that, if you're going to use the third umpire to analyse the shit out of them anyway.

Personally for catches I think third umpire should only rule of its genuinely short, or be called to rule on the boundary

My thoughts on these are, show them to someone who has never watched a game of cricket and ask them what they think, 99% of the time they’ll say it’s a catch and fail to understand why it’s even a question. The Starc call was ridiculous and reopened a can of worms.

That Smith dismissal looks worse with every view.

It was a good rock so there's some leeway but I think it's a sign of how far in his own f**ken loony head he is.

He's so worried about the angle from Bumrah and getting outside the line that he's walked so far he could get pinned on his trailing leg in front of middle and off. Just f**ken stay still (normal trigger movement obvs allowed)

I reckon his eyes have gone. It’s not head stuff anymore it’s just age.

I mean age doesn't help for sure but I think it's a little of A and B tbh.

He still changes his technique between games, so he's still mental. Add slowing down on top of that and it's not pretty.
