Do not understand this strategy at all. We're not going to tire them out. The game isn't likely to go for five days. Have a swing and take what runs you can to bump the scoreboard up

Ah damn. Was a really good rear guard tbh. Probably should have taken a few more singles but I'm not here blaming the 9 and 11 who faced 150 odd rocks between them

Who says we'd have been out then if we chose to take what was on offer and up the ante?

The ball is softer and the pitch far easier to bat on. Starc was more than capable of it

I think we should have taken more singles. But I also know Haze is not very good and I'm not sure he would have lasted as long if he was regularly exposed to 4 and 5 balls in a row from Bumrah especially.

Ultimately we did what we did, were in a much better spot than when Carey got out and we've gotta use that. I think it's pretty pointless arguing about the tactics our number 9 and 11 used to face more balls than the whole top six....there's a much worse part of that equation than their work
