Punter will be packing it IMO, Siddle is rubbish he needs to take wickets or be dropped. Bollinger, Johnson and Watson are our only hope IMO.

To be honest having 3 bowlers who you could expect or hope to take a bag is
a
much stronger position than w have been in for the last two years. And to be fair to siddle he probably took the most important wickets of the match.
Surely fair to think haurie is bowling for his career tomorrow?

but it was attacking bowling, which is what you want ... funny Kat has a better average and better strike rate than Hauri and much better BBI and their figures are very comparable because they have bowled a similar amount of innings

Knowing our selctors i doubt it, unless the Pakis get up tomorrow and he finishes with 1 for 150.

If the Aussies lose that will be the last we see of Nathan Hauritz surely. I think the Pakis will crumble after Umar Akmal throws his wicket away.

Difference is that Jeetan Patel isn't NZ's first choice spinner, what's Australia's excuse, bring back McGain?

As much as I don't rate Vettori as a genuine test bowler, he more than makes up for it in other areas and is daylight ahead of Hauritz (like most Aussie spin options that are constantly overlooked).

I agree that the Pakis will crumble once Umar Akmal throws away his wicket although Yousuf is the key wicket. If others stick with him he can easily score runs or bat out one end, even if it is boring.

Its not easy starting an innings again, I expect Australia to fire up and get 2-3 wickets in the first session tomorrow. If Pakistan manage to bat till lunch without loss and bank around 100 in the process, then will be game on.

s not our # 1 spinner, in fact he's only # 2 in tests, and at best #3 in ODIs...

think I'd still prefer Patel over Hauritz tbh
