Load of crap the Australian team was overrated and the English side was facing the Aussies without Warne they were always in with a chance. England won the big moments build a bridge.
Umm my point was we we're beaten by a sh*thouse England team, not saying England didn't deserve to win but getting beaten by them sums up how low we have sunk, and most of the blame can be attributed to Captain Clueless and Hilditch and his band of Merry Mongs.

Yes England are garbage but TBH with the amount of players we have lost I think we expect too much from our national team at times. In reality we are not that much better than England anymore IMO. Granted the selectors and captaincy should have been better.

I know there a few reasons to disagree, but I honestly think Warne would have been a better choice to captain Australia. In my opinion, he has the best head for the game out of anyone who has played in the last decade

It's an interesting question. Would Warne and Punter still be playing test cricket now if they had given Warne the captaincy?

And off track a little - who else thinks it was a mistake not to get Johnson out there bowling long spells against the Vics this weekend? I can just see him spraying it all over the shop at the Gabba. He needs a lot of work to dial in the radar, and one dayers ain't the same thing at all.

Can someone explain to me how Stuart Clark cops the blame for the Ashes loss when he only played two Tests?

What about all of the non-performers that were sh*t either all or most of the series?

These selectors are bullet proof it seems.

Locky wants a spinner who can spin the ball, yet want Hauritz in the side

brilliant logic

I actually want Cullen Bailey in the side. Hauritz is only for mine a stop-gap option, and he is the best one we have until Bailey comes into the side.

Not enough, his natural leggie hardly turns at all. His flipper is a great ball, but he needs his leggie to turn a bit more.

Tell that to Anil Kumble you clown, Smith won't ever be selected as a bowler TBH he bats far too well for that. Cullen Bailey has the talent but he is not performing so he is no chance just yet.

Kumble plays on the sub continent more often. Very rare to see an "over spinner" type bowler do well in Australia. Mind you I agree, Smith is more a batsman who is a handy spinner. As for Bailey, he has been getting more wickets lately. He has the talent.

Thats sh*t locky, but keep trying to keep up the agenda

Clark was a very good bowler who has lost pace an with that his key bounce due to persistent elbow injuries. They arent easy to come back from at 34 unfortunately

Johnson on the other hand is a young fit bowler who bowled like a merkin in England and had the luxury of an army CA officials around to deflect the blame for his woeful performances to any other player standing in the room.

I wouldnt under estimate some of the WI top order batsman.
In conjunction with one or two of our bowlers spraying it around a bit like is the norm, they could post decent totals

Pressure on Hussey score some runs imo
