He bowled well in the Ashes. Blame Ponting for not declaring earlier in Cardiff. Blame the batsmen for being s..t at Lords and the Oval. Hauritz did his job well and until Cullen Bailey is ready I am happy to have a defensive spinner in our side. Harris does a good job for South Africa playing that role.

He has a chance to win us a test match at Cardiff on a wicket turning sideways and he couldn't even bowl out the England 9, 10 or 11.

He had plenty of time, got nothing to do with our batsmen.

That proved to me what I have been saying, in that he is not a test cricketer.

No it proved how crap Ponting is as a captain. Why bat till the cows say hello? Why not declare when you are 150 ahead rather than 400 ahead! Plenty of time to roll them, then get the runs.

It was still a very flat pitch. Heck every Australian batsman looked good on that pitch. The captain has to take some of the blame for not declaring earlier.
