Saffa's getting arse raped, two of my most hated sides in world cricket but i have to admit Pujura and Kholi are world class. Morkel gone is a big loss i can only see an India win from here. Oh and Tahir is a worse spinner than the guy in our Sub districts side.

So an Indian other than Kohli has an away century. Well done Pujara. And Kohli looks like getting another one.

Saffers in trouble and Duminy is bowling better than Tahir.

Who would have thought India performing strongly away and South Africa struggling at home. Looks like Kohli will get back to back tons.

Where did all of this Robin Peterson love come from? He was rubbish against us last year and did absolutely nothing against Pakistan. He consistently goes for 5-6 runs an over in an innings and doesn't take enough wickets to warrant that sort of economy rate.

Great to see Pujara get a ton he's a quality batsman. Pujara and Kohli will be the heart of India's batting for a long time. Maybe the new generation of Indian batsman will have some heart away from home.

Which is basically Tahir... except that Peterson can bat.

Yep, I really don't understand why teams - at the moment RSA, NZ, and Aust (although NZ and Aust's are better than Tahir) play token spinners for variety when they have a quality 4th paceman available, and a batsmen or two that can provide similarly mediocre spin...
Lyon has done reasonably well tbh. No world beater but better option, especially when Watson is able to bowl.

Arguing who the better bowler is out of Tahir and Peterson is like arguing who is the better footy side the 99 magpies or the 2013 Eels. Both are horrendous gash.

 Yeah I didn't word that particularly well.

I was trying to say by at least playing Peterson you get a batting option, in the absence of any real spinner.

Leg spinners are always risky in test cricket. They're either fantasic or terrible.

I feel they would be better off going with Peterson as at least he would tie up an end somewhat. Playing a dodgy spinner against the best players of spin in the world is asking for trouble.
