Will probally wake up and watch the second 20 in the morning. Bit tough to pick this one. The kiwis are a very good T20 side but are playing a West Indian side who has played a lot of cricket together recently..unlike the kiwis where its the middle of winter in NZ and their first game together for a long time. Should be a close series.

Game 1
West Indies 2 for 209 (20 Overs)
Chris Gayle 85 (52) no
Kieron Pollard 63 (29) no
Doug Bracewell 1 for 47 (4overs)

New Zealand 153 (18.3 Overs)
Rob Nichol 32 (31)
Jacob Oram 27 (13)
Sunil Narine 3 for 34 (4 overs)

West Indies won by 56 runs
FULL SCORECARD

Comprehensive win to the Windies. So as you said 1MTDaz the Kiwis looked like they hadn't played since March. Looks like they have some injury worries too. Ross Taylor retired hurt and didn't return and Ronnie Hira didn't bat.. So they effectively only lost 8 wickets

Apparently Gayle smashed one straight back at Ronnie Hira when he was bowling & the ball smashed his hand to pieces..Cricinfo reckons his bone was exposed..

The Gayle & Pollard partnership must've been something to see..
