Since it’s in america copy top gun maverick where they are playing football on the beach and both teams are doing attack and defence

we can have four teams at once playing two games simultaneously

Copy rooster
or to make it more familiar to the yanks we could have all 68 players playing one game and just running on and off all the time.

Yep.

So you could play the game at 7pm and have it on at Lunchtime here, but what about the other game? Start it at 9.30pm Vegas time??

Run me through the great gamut of kick off times that would work for TV?
6 and 8pm there so from 11am Sydney time. I don't see it big problem

They'll be fox games anyway so most will watch I catch up. The novelty factor would see plenty watch them just for something a bit different.

If it will convert Yank sad sacks to stop pssing money away on college football games and instead pss it away on NRL games is less convincing.

So how would the scheduling for an event like this work?

Vegas is currently 17 hours behind the East Coast.

Are they going to play the game at midnight local time to cater for TV?
In the first week of March Nevada won’t be in DST but NSW will. So it’s actually 19 hours difference.

A 7pm/9pm Saturday Las Vegas doubleheader kickoff is 2pm/4pm Sunday here, pretty much in a regular TV slot.

Bring back the NRL Nines and host it in Singapore over three days in February. Make it a yearly event. Field up to 24 teams. Add PNG, Fiji, Singapore, Tonga, Samoa and Japan to the tournament. It'll make more money than this pie in the sky US game.

As far as getting college players into NRL goes it’s just not going to happen as the clubs are too dopey and disorganised. The AFL could possibly pull it off as they can get the clubs on the same page working together for the best interests of the game.

The F1 is a night race and 5pm into East coast here

How about a US team entering the Queensland cup or NSW cup based in Hawaii filled with college American football talent?

Yeh there were a few people saying the time zone would kill this game without spending ten seconds to think about possible times that will work

Did you read the article?

There isn't anything confirming it, and even it says there yet to make a decision
Of course I read it Souths and Manly are practically locked in with 3 others interested.
It's happening buddy and you should be happy! Forget about growing the game or College talent in the US ect.
This is just cool ! Really cool!
I'm not much of a gambler but I'd make the trip for this! Very cool! Could be an annual thing 🤘😎
This lifts the profile of our comp !
Once again, very cool!
