As a true proponent of expansionism I’m for this move 100% but only if there’s some sort of long term plan and legacy attached to it.

if it’s just a one-off money spinner then I don’t see the point and would rather see this take place in Perth or Christchurch to help promote and launch the successful bids of either teams as the NRL’s team 18.

The F1 is a night race and 5pm into East coast here

Like I said 19 hours difference. The F1 starts at 10pm local, which is 5pm here the next day.

So a 7pm Saturday kickoff in Vegas is 2pm Sunday here. A double header from 7 to 11pm in Vegas is 2 to 6pm here.

Govts paying for a team, RL would be stupid not to take free money and build a team with it, they can still go to Christchurch and Perth for teams 19 & 20
But right now the warriors are on an upward trend, and dolphins need to solidify in SEQ, so no more teams NZ or SEQ for the next one... and Perth has potential, but they aren't flush with local talent enough to trade out to be affective in boosting the player pool, PNG is the only place they go, and they physically don't want it based there with its security woes, ala next team is in Cairns under a pasifika title
