I thought Kumar did well for his 5fer and Dhoni actually threatened with the ball.

From the start of KP's knock, he looked uncharacteristically patient, I think I have seen better batting innings from him (in terms of what his produced from the bat), but I doubt I've seen smarter.

I think England are in a commanding position at the moment, some early wickets this evening would put them right on top.

i thought that pietersen was out on 49. i was suprised it wasn't given but at the same time the indians didn't look too fussed about it.

I thought Morgan wasn't out. Actually, I'm sure of it, it's possible that he thought the calls was LBW and knew he couldn't review an LBW decision, but the video evidence did not suggest that at all. It doesn't really matter, Prior batted fantastically with Pietersen and England are probably very happy with 474 in the first innings (well, they have to be, they did declare on that figure.

I wouldn't say they have Cook's measure, the first innings was a great ball that he got out too. In this innings he has batted a bit strangely for mine.
