Couple of intriguing ties for round of 16 matches.

Notably The pace and passing of Arsenal against all the guile and european experience of and ageing and perhaps fading AC Milan.

A Inter Milan side rich with talent but prone to european disasters against a struggling Liverpool who save their best football for the CL.

Also don't expect Man United and Madrid to have it all thier own way against Lyon and Roma respectively.

for the record

Schalke v Porto - Porto in a tight scrap
Roma v Real Madrid - Madrid barely in two entertaining games
Olympiacos v Chelsea - Chelsea to grind down the Greeks
Liverpool v Internazionale - Liverpool on penalties
Celtic v Barcelona - Barcelona to much class
Lyon v Man. United - Man United to come home with a wet sail at home
Fenerbahce v Sevilla - Sevilla
Arsenal v Milan - Milan on penalties

Schalke v Porto - Porto, but this should be close.
Roma v Real Madrid - Roma are in poor form, but Madrid have Robinho, Heinze and Pepe missing.
Olympiacos v Chelsea - Chelsea should win this one.
Liverpool v Internazionale - If Inter lose this match they may as well never bother playing in the CL again.
Celtic v Barcelona - Barcelona, but they are far from convincing at the moment.
Lyon v Man. United - Man United, I don't rate Lyon.
Fenerbahce v Sevilla - Sevilla.
Arsenal v Milan - Milan.

Celtic will leave ALOT of egg on your faces.

Betting against Celtic at Parkhead is madness.

Schalke v Porto - schalke (my adopted german side)
Roma v Real Madrid- Roma (just coz im very biased, i could never pick Los GaSpasticos)
Olympiacos v Chelsea- Chelsea (comfortable)
Liverpool v Internazionale - Inter (second easiest tie to pick of the round)
Celtic v Barcelona - Barca (end the game now on the mercy rule)
Lyon v Man. United- Man U (Lyon arent the same team from the past few seasons)
Fenerbahce v Sevilla- Sevilla (should be a great tie)
Arsenal v Milan- Milan (Best tie of the round, arsenal are form, Milan in Europe are VERY tough.

Unfortunately they have to also play away from Parkhead.

Schalke v Porto - first leg a schalke win, second leg a porto victory but higher score
Roma v Real Madrid - i'm going to go out on a limb and predict a roma home leg victory and draw in madrid
Olympiacos v Chelsea - draw in athens then victory in london
Liverpool v Internazionale - inter to win both legs

Celtic v Barcelona - i'll go with a draw in glasgow but won't be at all surprised if they knock barca off, but barca will get the job done at home
Lyon v Man. United - first leg will be a draw and united to win at home
Fenerbahce v Sevilla - fenerbahce to surprise most of us and KO sevilla in both games
Arsenal v Milan - the one and only time i say FORZA MILANO!!

Thought for the day.
Anyone see the Real goal in the Roma match.
Real player may or may not have been kept onside by the Roma full back.
Why is it an attacker would be ruled as a passive offside out there but a passive defender keeps them on?
Yeh I know its a rule but again its all about the attack.
