How so, they admit to doing this themselves.

People that come from (our) club staff, the other club and referees don't come through the check system (turnstiles)," Richardson said.
"There's a whole range of people that go in through other entrances

I think most sydney teams do this, but its funny they got caught. lol

Caught? The Tele did an inaccurate, independent count which missed over 2,000 people than the official figure. There's absolutely no way to verify the validity of the Telegraph's claims.

Change that to "Can't sell a paper without embarrassing Souffs" and you'd be closer to the mark.

Everyone loves reading about Souffs continuing woes.

Is this the same paper that ran this same sort of story against the dogs at the showground a few years back?

They later printed a small apology when they told the truth that the photos spread across the front page (a panoramic shot to proove there was noone there) were taken at 10am and not 3pm (kick off time) like the claimed in the front page story.

Whilst this one with souths may be true, the tele has as much credibility as today tonight or aca.....

either way why are they preoccupied with souths?

isnt anybody intereted in the roosters coming first?

or is counting souths crowds more newsworthy than the chooks coming first.

We're coming 3rd.

But to reiterate my original point because you don't seem to be listening.

Everyone loves reading about Souffs continuing woes.

You really must wonder if News LTD/The Daily Telecrap is on RL's side at all.

What sort of f**ked up paper would have idiots manning the turnstiles.

You wouldn't see this happening to the AFL in Victoria. Some of those Melbourne Demons' crowds look fudged, but don't expect the Herald Sun or The Age to be sniffing around with clickers.

I wonder by how many John O'Neil will ensure the union test is over-stated this Saturday night.

equal first on the points table.

dead last in terms of interest across sydney.

sydney media would rather count the crowd at souths games than talk about the roosters winning games.

go figure

No Chandos, they would rather report about Souffs embarrassing situation and talk about Roosters winning games...It's win-win.

Additionally a lot of people enjoy reading about Souffs pathetic demise after hitting some massive heights last year (for Souffs) by scraping into the 8 and getting smacked and then having to listen to a whole off season of their supporters sprouting off that they were gods gift to Rugby League.

As for the dead last thing in interest across Sydney, maybe you should check our away crowd figures, where we currently have the highest away crowds. Seems a lot of opposition supporters enjoy watching their team play us, which would be a good gauge of Sydney wide interest.

Next devastating comeback please champ.
