We'll only know if he was really a loss if they lose. They proved last week they can cover for his absence alot better than most people anticipated.

Clive Churchill Medal prediction: Cooper Cronk
Last week proved nothing, he was under no pressure from the Sharks and still made amature mistakes which are going to cost them.

You may live to eat your words
True but Manly played very good football against the Warriors.
Storm were playing against a side that never really turned up - They played well but they weren't challenged at all.

I would take the two weeks beforehand as an indicator of what the game will be like.

I'm certainly not saying Storm are certain winners or anything arrogant like that. I'm tempted to tip Manly but I have big doubts over Orford and I know Melbourne have a great team spirit and will lift for the challenge. As I said I feel confident it will be 1-12 either side - that's an objective view despite me obvious leanings.

Even though it was good to see Manly get thrashed last season. I hope its a better contest this season otherwise whoever wins otherwise it will be pretty anti-climactic. Haven't had a really close grand final for a few years.

What's being played Saturday? :?

Some people actually live interstate and just possibly have organized to be in Sydney for the Saturday and Sunday and return home on Monday. Therefore having the Sat forecast is very handy (especially when some people only ever go to the seaside when they visit Sydney).

I suppose there would be a fair few come up from Melbourne too for the weekend.

Thanks gong for the info, I appreciate it.

Rain will Favour us imo. Also i got very excited when i realised we will be playing in the first daytime gf for a very long time.

Sunday arvo + home jerseys + Higher percentage of Manly fans in the crowd could equal a special day for us Manly fans.
