So we are at the last round and i'll take a stab for the HM team first. Obviously with a possible v probable match anything could happen, but one thing should be certain that Gagan is HM player of the year. Think this probably represents the table fairly well with the top 2 teams fielding 4 a peice, Manly 2, Wests 2, Penrith 2 and Newcastle probably unlucky with 1. Mata'utia just hasnt been consistent enough from my perspective to get ahead of the others chosen but again a good game in possibles v probables could change that.
1. Jacob Gagan (Parra) First player chosen outstanding season. Enjoyed the move to FB and its freedom to involve himself at the right moments.
2. David Nofalouma (Wests) scored at least one try in every match he played, strong and can find the line.
3. Samsoni Langi (Dogs) One of dogs standouts. V strong and elusive
4. Jim Stewart (Manly) Has come on in leaps and bounds this year been Manly's best for last few weeks. Again very strong with pace.
5. James Roberts (Souths) Elusive, skillful unfortunate to be in a struggling Bunnies team.
6. Troy Errington (Parra) Been a revelation since moving to six complements McGuiness and keeps the backline firing.
7. Sean McGuiness (Parra) Not many 7's around but last years NSW CHS half is the pick of them good kicking game and organiser.
8. Tai Tuivasa (Penrith) Big and Skillful some of his tries have been all strength this season others amazing skill for a big man
9. Luke Vescio (Manly) Last years NSWCCC captain is Super quick and elusive. Great service, running game and organises better than anyone around the ruck
10. Jake Townsend (Wests) Hadnt heard of him prior to season but very impressed with his toughness and go forward.
11. David Minute (Dogs) Kept going from where he left off last season another reason for Dogs great performances.
12. Jeremy Maa (Newcastle) Big and skillful. His ability to offload in the tackle is unmatched in this comp.
13. Brendan Santi (Dogs) Another of the dogs backing up for HM again but uncomprimising player who brings plenty strong runner, great defender.
14. Jakiel Fuimaono (W Academy) Should of been in Penriths team. Again very skilful for a big fella but does the hard yards to.
15. Lelani Latu (Dogs) Another tall and damaging player who has come of age in his second HM season
16. Vai Toutai (Parra) As cover for the back line this guy is a beast.
17. Reece Reegan (Penrith) Last years Oz schoolboys lock brings versatility. Plays SR, Lock also played hooker for Penrith Ball and 6 and 7 this year for the Panthers.
