Those saying Thurston and Lockyer aint good enough really need a wake up call.
In my opinion Karmichael is the best fullback in the world.
Steve Michaels has been one of the broncos best so far this year along with Wallace, Folau and Thaiday.
Carl Webb i think is still good enoguh to play but if not their is plenty of other options.
I wouldn't even be to disappointed if they throw David Shillington in there, his a good tough front rower who i think will take over what Carl webb use to be like. He was 18th man last year

Considering I'm a Cows fan I'd say I know what I'm talking about.
Thurston has been fairly quiet of late and on form does not deserve selection.
Lockyer most seasons despite his profile has deserved his selection but this year he's also struggling with making strange errors in judgment and Wallace has been the shining light for the Broncs this year.

I have no doubt they'll both be selected for Queensland (though JT may have to worry about Prince) , but they're both a bit unusual this year on form which does worry me a tad.

Dunno for the last reserve. Lockyer has played so far and doesn't need to overdo, especially with Wallace in good form. Thurston/Prince battle will be a big one, I'd lean towards John. If Taylor keeps up his unreal form he has to get a call up. I have a feeling Big Dave would relish being on the origin stage, or crumble.

He has been very ordinary and definetly isnt up there with the others you mentioned. Winterstein has been playing better than him for one.

If we are judging on current form after 3 rounds then Stagg has to be there. Lockyer has done nothing wrong really he just has a halves partner now at the Broncos that is just as good as him, and when has that even been close to happening?? McGuire, Perry, Berrigan...

Tonga is great player, but Hodges is still the best center in the game. We do have good depth though.

I dont know if thats a serious team, but I really dont think QLDs other forwards can afford to carry both Johnson and Luck in attack.

It's on the mark, but Slater WILL be in the team and Prince and Slater wont both be on the bench. Could be another huge disappointment for Scott.

Aren't the Broncos working on a Folau/Hodges combo on one side? Or is Folau being placed at centre?

Either way, in terms of centres Inglis>Folau, so Mal will choose accordingly.

Yes Folau and Hodges played on the right side together for the one game together this season.

i dont get why people have boyd in the team ahead of kemp? kemp for mine was the form winger of 08 and i cant think of a better finisher. have him outside inglis and i think he would score tries galore.

Boyd is the incumbent, is in better form, and is the better all-round player. Stats wise he leads the league in kick return averages and tackle breaks, equal second in try saves
