Roosters will get under 10k for their game against the Titans next week FACT.

probably. QLD team, no rivalry, no away fans, Monday Night. One for the diehards only I suspect. Hopefully it isn't as dismal as our Monday night against the Cowboys.

Regardless of those things, the fact is the Titans are a fellow top-four team. A great match-up in prospect.

Anything under 10k would be a disgrace.

We are 99 fans of equalling 2005s all time crowd average record.

Will we break it?

We need an average of 16.9k over the last few rounds. It shall be hard but considering the crap we went through with Melbourne this season its quite noteworthy we've come this close.

There was no Gold Coast in 2005.

Even so, the average has eluded us over the five seasons since. We've smashed through the aggregate because of Gold Coast but this appears to be the first time we've challenged the average. It's entirely possible and nothing to scoff at - and is also evidence the membership drive is reaping some results.

Why people like yourself have to scream down any thoughts of positivity, however small, has got me beat.

Wonder how Sharks will turn out to their first friday night game in what seem likes forever. Hopefully with Roosters on a bit of a roll we bring a couple of thousand.

What are the titans averaging? It's not like they are pulling up the average that much.

Also the fact that we can potentially be averaging higher crowds AND have an extra team is a good thing. It shows that our expansion has been a success.

You only have to look at the A-league to see what can happen.

7 clubs up and 8 down. 1 new club that is also bringing the average up.

Sorry that it is somewhat difficult to read.
According to this site.

I think they include the DH in both the Broncos and Bulldogs averages, so really we need to improve by slightly more than 99 people.

However that is terrible from the Sharks. They were I think 7th in 2005, but a few years ago they were third and hardly got 12k average.

seems to be some non-Sydney teams bringing the average down.
Hopefully the new stadium at Newcastle will improve things - just need Canberra, Cowboys and the Warriors to pick things up
