No it isn't.

That is rugby union's biggest game in Australia for the year bar none.

There were 25,000 tickets still available less than a week ago. Plenty of cheapies were virtually thrown away.

How can the Wannabies be an all-time worst sports team when they are currently ranked 2 in the world? Doesn't say much for the standard of international union then.

Dope,it was a phucking great crowd,it was a phucking dead rubber match you idiot and the whole crowd knew the Wallabies never beat NZ.

70,000 in a dead rubber game is not a great crowd,LOL at you

It's a Sydney Bloodyslow. You know, played at a ground with an 82k capacity.

And it still attracted the most fans of any yawnion match in Australia this season by a far margin as it usually does. Knock yourself out and have a look at the 2010 crowd figures dipsh*t.

Apparently there are 1000+ left at the leagues club so hopefully they get picked up by walk ups.

If there is 1 spare seat in the place it will be a big disappointment.

Even if it is a sell out, its a sell out of 18k, not that impressive for a club that claims to have so much support....

Why do we still have grounds in Sydney with only 18k capacities?

I mean once upon a time Kogarah could fit in 23k, Brookie 27k and Parra Stadium 27k.

So much for progress.

90% of Sydney's Doctors, Lawyers and Bankers would have been at the game..

You could have snuck a game of League on and they wouldn't have noticed because they would have been busy swapping business cards and real estate tips whilst drinking Chardonnay to notice...

BTW for Sydney only, the ratings were as follows for Saturday Nights battle of the codes..

Channel 9s League peaked at 700,000

Channel 7s Bloodyslow cup peaked at 290,000

Channel 10s AFL peaked at 209,000

Would more sydney people show up to a big park with a massive TV screen to watch a footy game than actually watching the game live?

After seeing the saints crowd it would sure be a close call.

Embarrassing.

So what was their reason to why they wouldn't move the game?

What a waste of a final. I guess you can't blame people not wanting to watch the most boring team in the history of the game (which says a lot after 4 years of the Storm) and Manly....
