Firstly Kiwis score two tries off blatant forward passes, then Slater knocks on a relatively easy catch and Channel 9 just happen to have footage ready of when Slater gave the Kiwis the World Cup Final. The real truth is that NZ just needed a goal in their last game to qualify, but narrowly missed out. Aussie were gone in humiliating fashion after 2 games and picking up a consolation win

Aus finished on the same number of points as the pretending Africans that went through to the second round. The goal difference was the only thing that stopped us from getting into the second round 2 cups in a row
