Pretty clear that the Dragons v Tigers game was the Grand Final.

And as many said, whoever won that match would go on to become premiers.

If the Tigers had've won, the Tigers would've beaten the Roosters given the display they turned on in the GF.

Furthermore, the Roosters and Dragons are now equal imo in regards to being chokers.

Can't believe Boyd got the CC Medal.

Week 1 Tigers v Roosters was the highlight of the year for mine. The Roosters came out on top in that one. They deserved to be in the GF and the Tigers didn't

I disagree respectively. i thought that was a fitting GF, it was a bigger margin IMO due to the Saints giving there best display in that second half that ive probally ever seen from them.

We beat the Tigers 3 times this year.... a 4th would have been no problem.

a bunch of 8 year olds would have been a problem for the roosters yesterday.

The Tigers would have rolled them, no doubt about it.

Yeah just like the other 3 times this year. The tigers lost 2 finals matches and did not deserve to be in the grand final, it's as simple as that.

Well the Tigers did lose by a dodgy scrum and then only by a point to the Dragons.

They were closer than you're willing to admit.

I admit they were 1 point away from a grand final, at the end of the day though they lost.

As to being one dodgy scrum away... we were a dodgy ref call away from not conceding the first try... would it have changed the result? Probably not but you never know

No doubt the tigers had a good season but i dont get "the grand final was last week"... they didn't make it and that's the way things go.

Excuse me but don't you have to score more points to win?

You only did that once in three games. You were outscored 56 to 53 in the finals. The roosters won three of four games. They outscored their opponents 93 to 65. The Dragons won three from three and outscored their opponents 73 to 20.

Just be thankful you caught us on an off night.

A team that loses twice to the Sharks (the Sharks!!) and gets 60 (yes, 60!) put past them by the Dogs shouldn't make the Semis, let alone the big one.
The Tigers would've thumped the Roosters by 18 or 20 in the GF.

Doesn't matter. Every year there is a game that is better or more exciting than the Grand Final, usually the week before, doesn't take anything away from the fact that the two teams that contest the Final deserve to be there.

It was a disappointing Grand Final given the build up and all the hype. Roosters first team since 1934 to come from wooden spooners to premiers, these clashes are usually fairly close.

I thought it was a good first half, ok there were some dodgy calls from the refs but both sides came out strong. Unfortunately the Roosters hit the panic button in the second like most Brian Smith coached sides in Grand Finals.

I thought it was gonna be a close game but with a performance like that it was an ordinary game.

Well done to the Dragons. First ever premiership as a joint venture.

Was a joke Boyd got Clive Churchill medal, obviously got the award before the game kicked off. Why cant a forward get this award? Surely Jeremy Smith shouldve been Man of the match.

How is this current Dragons side now considered chokers?
They are a lot more successful than the club you follow.

Really the Dragons were EASILY the best side this year. If they had a bit more attacking firepower they could've absolutely strolled it in. As it was they still strolled it in. Its up to other clubs to find consistency if they want to match the Dragons.

they had enough firepower and did score alot of points in a short time , the hardest part of the game is maintaining defence
