Exactly. Until mid last season there was no sleeve sponsor, Or NYC sponsor for that matter. 12 months we sit in the same place. Made worse by Sanyo going. Why not start looking last season?

From what I've heard at least Gould is out there campaigning pretty hard and I think there will be movement made before the season.
End of the day we'll have sponsors for round 1...and that is all that matters.
The DT fluff crap today from Ritchie is nothing more than off-season filler. Ritchie is a known crap journalism who just makes shit up so I don't take much stock in what he says.
Manly didn't have a major sponsor for the majority of last year so companies come and go.
Lets not forget how long Sanyo has been with us and from my understanding there was apparantly a committment made over the last 12 months to maintain that relationship, but after operations basically lost control this year it was decided they'd pull all sponsorship so it was actually something that was put on them this year.
But as with everything forward planning hasn't been a priority in the past, I feel that will be changing going forward.
