Big movers upwards for mine will be the Knights and the Cowboys. I like the younger talent the Knights have purchased and Cows have shifted alot of dead wood and experienced campaigners like Tate and especially Dallas Johnson will add starch.

Big movers down are the Titans and the Roosters for mine. The Titans are ageing and Princes defence actually seems to be getting worse. If Bailey and Mini go down they could even be spoon bait. Roosters I feel showed every card they had last year and Smith is not known for rapid adaption with success.

I rate the Dogs signings but do not rate the side. Their spine is weak, inexperienced and flaky and Patten is a massive loss.

The big question marks on the season for mine are will Soufs click and will Orford give the Raiders what they need to keep going until Camp is back

Heres mine

1. Saints - Great team well coached
2. Tigers - Same side as last year, proven combinations
3. Roosters - Showed they can play some qualtity footy
4. Raiders - Best Forward pack and speed outwide
5. Storm - Slater and Smith - They will always ensure there are thereabouts
6. Dogs - Better squad, they will forget about last year fast as there under acheieved
7. Broncos - Wont miss 2 final series in a row
8. Warriors - Will do well with there additions

The only thing id be willing to put money on this season is Saints to fionish top two.

We have been loosing forwards for the past 10 years, the Illawarra machine keeps churning them out though, every year without fail, it amazes me that people keep citing that we wont have the grunt to do it again this year...

When the league kicks off the top 8 alphabetically will be

Brisbane
Canberra
Canterbury
Cronulla
Gold Coast
Manly
Melbourne
Newcastle

New Zealand
North Queensland
Parramatta
Penrith
South Sydney
St George
Sydney
Wests Tigers

St George have the chance to jump above South Sydney as long as they don't abbreviate. Cronulla are considering changing their name to Aardvark and Aberdeen sh*te to grab the Minor Premiership before a ball is kicked.

Top 7 in no particular order; Saints, Tigers, Roosters, Storm, Broncos, Warriors, Titans.

For the final spot I can't choose between; Souths, Bulldogs and Raiders.
