He simply pointed out that an AFL club was making healthy profits and had large memberships, and he wants NRL clubs to be in that position one day too. A perfectly reasonable point.

What's on field success got to do with a club's popularity? Other than the fact the more successful a club is the better supported they should be. That doesn't seem to happen though with 2 years straight minor premiers coming last.

Cool, but people on a league forum don't give a sh*t about AFL. If he said no 10k memberships wouldn't be good, but clubs making profits and 30k members would be, different matter. But constantly wants to brag about AFL.
