I wouldn't stress too much about the Sharks, Raiders and Knights yet.

Just to compare their total numbers at this same time last year with this year:

Knights:
Currently: 5,501
Last Year at this time: 4,300

Sharks:
Currently: 2,767
Last Year at this time: 1,800

Raiders:
Currently: 3,822
Last Year at this time: 2,700

So provided all three of these clubs get the same kick as they did last year heading into the season, they are actually on track for growth which is good.

Remember out of the 140,000-odd thousand memberships that were sold last year, around 50% of them were sold between February and April.

The Raiders and Knights should be doing better. They are one team cities, especially the Knights who have no oppostion, whilst Canberra only have the Brumbies to compete with.

If yakstorm is right then we should of sold about another 50,000 - 70,000 memberships once April rolls around.

Hopefully teams like the Raiders, Knights, Sharks can get off to a good start giving their fans hope of a good year and increase early season memberships.

The Sea Eagles 'Next Generation' U/9's membership is now available.

A great concept by the Sea Eagles, try and secure fans of the future by getting the kids to go to regular matches at Brookvale, whilst also this whole exercise is going to encourage a few adults and so on to sign up for a membership so they can take their kids, who may not have considered one before.

Ccbears @ 5230

Thats bloody brilliant!!

Have seen a lot of CCB gear around lately, window stickers on cars in hornsby as well as the Coast and a few jerseys around as well. Seems to have really caught on here from the general mood of people too. The guys behind the Bears bid could give a few of the NRL clubs lessons in promoting their club in a cheap, effective way.

Well it's finally happened, Melbourne Storm memberships are now on sale:
https://secure.memberdesq.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=main&OrgID=1953

They are ridiculously over priced. At least twice the price in some cases of comparative memberships. How stupid. Would of thought they would have done anything to get new fans and keep them. Instead they are 4 months too late and far too expensive. Put it this way. I got two Roosters memberships in Cat 1 seats for $260 each. They are offering Cat 3 for $277. And no away membership. None.

I had a quick look and thought their pricing was ok, although I think every club should be offering the $100 GA membership as a way to massively boost numbers

The Leagues club should up the price of their Leagues clubs membership by $10 and include a basic NRL club membership to everyone who gets a Leagues club membership. It would give the NRL club a massive database to market to as well as extra income and might convert some to become full members eventually. 3k for Penrith is a disgrace, imagine if they had all the Leagues clubs members as NRL club members and could direct market to them.
