With such apathy from their very region I really can't see how the Sharks will survive into the future. And for the sake of 3,000 people I have to ask what for?
Don't leave the Bears Out
Souths on top where we belong, everyone better get used to that, you'll be seeing a lot of that this year. Most of the time from March to October.

When they start charging $200-400 I'll start including them.
ive got a theory.
we have 18,000 facebook "friends"
but only 3000 members.
alot of the comments are
"how do i sign up"
there seems to be a disconnect between the message the club is putting out and what the general nrl fan (non forum type) knows and is aware of.
for example...theres alot of "i thought i was a member??!"
many people are still confused at the difference between footy club memberships and leagues club.
god that's depressing from the cowboys............ sigh.

our season ticket prices dropped a fair bit for this season, my family tickets went from about $1250 down to about $950 which is pretty reasonable IMO.
the sh*tty 3 years does not help at all, I think a few people are a bit disillusioned with the club, hopefully the lads turn it around and show a bit of ticker, no one expects them to be world beaters every year, but some of the performances over the last 3 years have been downright disgraceful.
No. 25 years of memberships + a strong sporting attendance culture will mean that AFL will still be way ahead in memberships - even if the NRL doubles in numbers over the next 5 years - though if it managed to double memberships in that time I would regard that as a great achievement. The key for the NRL is to keep the growth because the rate of increase over the last few years has been good - and phenomenal for some clubs. So whilst we analyse these numbers, will NRL membership numbers rival AFL numbers in 5 years?
What are people's thoughts.
And before the AFL goons get on here and knock RL, remember membership in NRL is only a relatively new thing.
