Looking at all the numbers, it looks like only the Cowboys are a possibility of not increasing their memberships on last year's figures - and even if they don't they will come close. So that would be a great effort by all the clubs.

Well i think the storm will struggle to get over 10K this year after what happened last year and because they released their memberships so late.

However after a decent year this year i think membership numbers will start going up again next year.

Overall though it looks like another year of growth which has to be positive.

The Roosters do have an interstate supporters pack and I remember there being a good few Roosters fans at Suncorp last season when we played there. But purchasing memberships when you arent going to travel to any games wont appeal to everyone. Even if it's only $50 for a non attendance one.

I was going to buy my youngest daughter a Roosters kids' non-ticketed membership but there was nothing suitable that I could find. So instead she has been inducted into the Broncos cult along with her sister.

Forgot about Melbourne... after the year they had some fans might feel cheated. And it really doesn't help when they release memberships so late.

Positive start by the Storm considering it hasn't even been two weeks since they went on sale. From what I hear they already have quite a bit of backlog, so should have a few strong weeks of number updates.

So Year over Year what do you think will be the total % increase or decrease.

I would be happy with a 10% increase YOY. 15%-20% would be seen to be an absolute success for the NRL.

The Cowboys and the Storm have a lot of work to do. All the other clubs should clear last years totals easy.

The Dogs number is suprising. They have the 3rd lowest % and nearly 3k to go to meet their 2010 total. With them buying a lot of new players for this season and most people predicting them to be a top 8 team, you'd think they'd be doing better than they are.

The Dogs are still well ahead of where they were at the same time last year, so no need to panic just yet. Traditionally their fans are late to sign up.

They should at least (worse case scenario) go close to equaling their 2010 numbers, and honestly consolidation isn't always a bad thing.

Haven't seen any marketing really.

Be interesting to see how the "legends" clubs go in their battle. One would think they have to get more than the clubs in the "beaches", but will they? Would be huge if every club got similar figures to those 3.
