Yup... same as Broncos replacing Sportingbet and Storm replacing Crown.

If Souths play in NZ, the Star will change to Souths Cares.

Very interesting. It's against NZ gambling laws to display advertising for overseas gambling companies/venues.

Surprised NZ haven't asked for a please explain re that jersey given other clubs have been forced into changes.

It's purely a guess, but maybe Eden Park had some sort of exemption that hung around after the Rugby Onion World Cup?

Or maybe they got served and it wont happen again. Cause I remember a few years ago the Newcastle Jets had to tape over their logo when they were sponsored by Centrebet.

Must be Ok to have NZ ones over there though since the Warriors have Skycity as a sponsor.
Goes to show that we forget sometimes that they ARE another country and the old adage of if your in another country you have to obey it's laws.

It's probably a stadium agreement at Mt Smart because SkyCity sponsor the Warriors.

The first game this year was at Eden Park.

So you can watch TV without that annoying JAAAAAAAAIMEEEEEE RODGERS whine every 10 minutes.

God bless you New Zealand.

To clarify, overseas gambling entities cannot advertise within NZ. I.e. Australian gambling orgs/casinos cannot advertise in NZ. No such restrictions within NZ.

They should be applauded, whoever designed the 'bra' jersey is a f**king idiot.

Not this again. Yes it looks terrible but rules is rules. Enforce them and clubs will put more thought into what they choose so we'll see less dogshit served up each year.

Someone didn't watch Dark Knight Rises

Newie are doing the right thing. They shouldn't have to wear a shit jersey because of some ridiculous rule made up purely to sell more merchandise.
