Rein, Merrin, King, Hopoate, Dugan, Tarmou, Woods and soon. These are all players of the future that NSW can build a team on and stick with it for many many years. It's just waiting to blood the talent. But these guys will be great in a few years once they get some origin together.

In the mean time we still have the talent to win but it's the fact of playing both the loyalty and form card to build the best team possible while taking a step forward from last year and advancing as a individual and as a group. Then we will win. Last year the boys regained some passion and hopes of winning. If we can carry that confidence through no doubt we can make 2012 the year.

Mitch Rein is a very handy hooker imo. It seems NSW have some pretty good young talent coming through in most positions but the halves, Carney and Pearce(shudder) will be there for a few years but I think in a few years we will have a very good team that we can stick with.

QLD might get to 10 but they aint gettin to 15!

If Farah is picked Steve Roach needs to be punted from the coaching staff (what he said was a disgrace). Probably be a good thing for NSW for as much as I loved Blocker as a player I don't think he is a great coach (he has been part of the losing NSW set up for a while).

To be honest NSW should have punted Stuart, Fullton and the entire coaching satff at the end of last year. How Fulton is still a selector after all the NSW series losses has me baffled. Fulton will probably pick the Manly NYC hooker for NSW.

Ricky Stuart last night: "Good luck anyone trying keeping Blocker out of our Origin camp".

As a Saints fan, I'm chuffed that we have two very good young hookers (Mitch Rein and Cam King), and we've somehow managed to hold on to both of them for another two years at least. I'm sure evntually we'll have to let one or the other go (I'll hate whichever team picks either of them up with an undying hatred), and we'll see them battling each other for rep gigs. It's too soon for Rein this year though. He's still finding his feet in first grade.

Hopefully it is the Bulldogs. Our hooker is shit, our back up in Romelo isn't much better.

You hate us anyway, why not step it up a notch?

Yeah mate agree with everything you said, the battle for the saints hooker spot is going to be interesting, and ive got no problem with you hating Penrith if it means we can nab one of those two.;-)

What are Dogs opinions on Josh Reynolds? Ive been fairly impressed with him as well, not sure 6 is his position but im still impressed.

This is part of the problem. It's indicative of an "in crowd" situation. If you aren't one of the boys, or liked on a personal level by one of the boys, you're not in. We need professionalism.

I would really like to see Hinchcliffe play and stay there.

He is going to be a fantastic player. They are currently developing his kicking game. He tries to run the ball a little too much. He'll learn when to pass, when to kick and when to run.

In the games he played last year he was fantastic when he came off the bench at hooker. Exposed a lot of teams and turned a couple games.

we all have a high opinion of him.

King oath. Frankly, we need a coach like Craig Bellamy, with a professional coaching staff behind him. I know we got spanked when he was coach, and it was obvious he wasn't giving it 100%, but I suspect the behind the scenes bullshit with the NSW powerbrokers had as much if not more to do with it than coaching against his Storm stars.

The side is picked on the 14th right? And Stuart has his favourites and will always play them regardless of whether they're the right person for the job or not.

The whole Hayne fiasco last year proved this.
