Cue BM and the other goner losers: "But but but we won 2-0 there last year. We can still do it!"

Lahm btw is such a brilliant player. What a pass for Muller.

If you're currently the worlds best right back AND arguably the worlds best deep lying midfielder then surely that makes you arguably one of the top 5 players in the world.

Cracking player.

Mixed feelings. On the one hand it's never fun to lose 2-0, Sczesny's red is frustrating and Gibbs getting injured just as he's showing how good he is. On the other hand with 11 men we were genuinely competing against the best in the world. We were offering a lot more than City did against inferior opposition (compared to Bayern).

We can win the League and Cup playing like that.

Sam, did you bother watching the game?

0-2 against Bayern is a better result than 0-2 against Barcelona. Before the red card it was a genuine contest.

I disagree. I'd rather be losing against Barca than Bayern. You can almost guarantee that Bayern will give them a thumping at Allianz, whereas Barca can be hot&cold at Camp Nou. Bayern 2013/14 is Barca 2010/11 - and it's all to do with the coach!

BunniesMan is right though. Maybe not about the Barca comment but the rest was on point. Bayern would have dropped points in at least 2 or 3 games this year if the opposition had a decent striker. No chance of progressing to the semis unless they get Manchester United or Schalke, if they beat Arsenal.

Here we go again with the bullshit reverse psychology/reverse jinx. You pulled the same crap last season.

We're talking about a side that is currently unbeaten (in meaningful matches) this season with a 16-point luxury to rest key players in its domestic competition. None of the other major contenders besides possibly PSG can claim that.

The players have done it before, and so has the coach. If Bayern don't make at least the final, it would be a shock.

Of course it will be a shock to you, when was the last time you watched Bayern play? Probably against Manchester City. It was evident then, It was evident against Gladbach, it was evident against Freiburg in the first half and ffs if you seriously watched the game this morning it was more than evident there.

It's funny you bring up some reverse psychology bullshit (wtf lmao) when I said days before the game the defence has been shit and Alaba, Dante and Boateng made it their mission to prove me correct with Javi Martinez in a fine supporting role

But yeah, keep reading scorelines on sbs.com

I was actually surprised with how good Arsenal looked early on. If they had a real threat up they were a real chance of scoring. Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain were getting into the right areas. They seemed to have their tactics right lobbing to the wings and setting up their attacks from there.

Is it just a case of missing the duel threat that Ribery and Robben provide, TT? It took a special goal to get them out of second gear.
