I think the Toyota sponsorship has been incorporated differently this year to match the back of the jersey, rather than have the Toyota as a billboard type logo... if that picture above is correct at least.

That's true but for $5m they'll get whatever they please. i think the mock up will be close to what we get, sadly, with red and white.

Holden could have changed its colours but then you could also cut a few million from the price it paid for the front of jersey spot. When have you ever seen the Holden logo in colours other than red and white anyway? Let alone green and gold to make it blend in with the rest of the jersey.

We have some terrible jerseys in the NRL but some people in this thread need to pick their battles.

If companies are willing to incorporate their colours into the jersey, then good on them.

But given these companies are coughing up big bikkies, in some instances to keep clubs viable, I think they should get to choose.

Every time I look at the badge on a Holden car. It is chrome with a background of whatever the bodypaint's
Colour is. Before that they used an enamel badge that had the lion on a black background.
