Well not quite. Up until 2006 there was a very small white (and blue) double line that sat between the maroon and the gold stripe. And of course, let's not forget the white away jersey that was so maligned here until the Broncos actually followed everybody's advice and did a yellow away jersey... which is now, of course, so maligned.

All of that said, it is funny how jersey colour priorities change. The 1997/98 jersey, which, bless it, had a 100% success rate of winning premierships, had more white on it than any other colour.

Don't like the grey for us.

IMO 2007 was our best home kit. Swap the maroon and gold around on the jersey and socks (keeping the exact same shorts though) would be a perfect away kit.

Agreed. The maroon and grey seems to be more tied up with the Origin jersey. Keep it there.

As for the 2007-10 version of the jersey, the lack of the gold band at the top of the chest looks better every year. Clean lines. Nice.

That said, my favourite was the 1999 jersey before they had lined up a sponsor. Clean lines, great mix of gold, maroon and white and a nice twist on the original design. Looked pretty hideous once it had 131-SHOP across the front though.

I'd say it's not needed on the home jersey. There's nothing wrong with a two colour blended jersey.

The simpler the scheme, the better imo. Keep the white for the away kit.

Ive never understood peoples love of silver, on anything really (I especially hate silver cars).. Its such a bland colour, when the Warriors used it, all their jerseys were awful.. It works with the Cowboys, because theyve had it since day 1, and not in great amounts.. But no other club should implement it..

Dragons might be getting a new "heritage" jersey this year (similar to our first Red V jersey).

There is nothing official on the Dragons website, and it only has Momentum as the bottom back sponsor (we got Always on-board mid way through this season) so it don't know if it's real. It does look like it says Reebok on the front though.

Anyways, here it is.

There is nothing official on the Dragons website, and it only has Momentum as the bottom back sponsor (we got Always on-board mid way through this season) so it don't know if it's real. It does look like it says Reebok on the front though.

Anyways, here it is.

I've always wanted to see that one thrownback to. Shame the sponsored takes up that much space.

I don't know why the bronc's just didn't reserve the colours from the home jersey to the away. Even the maroon is a different shade.

Awesome, I have always thought that particular jersey is a masterpiece! The heritage design looks the goods as well no dodgy red collar and the Red V not cut off by the sponser, love it!

Yep if you look closely you can see the stitching goes all the way up. Wear and tear on a jersey that is 83 years old I'd say
