I posted this concept a while ago. Here it is again for those who missed it. I think the white NEEDS to make a comeback to the Broncos jersey. It really makes it look like the broncos of old.

Here is the West Coast Pirates jersey in full. I like it, especially the shorts and socks. Good all around

agreed, get rid of the side panels and put a decent rendering of the jersey up for people to look at and judge properly.

Seems odd, West Coast Pirates but wearing the same colours and have the same sponsor as the Reds. Why not maintain the same popular brand?

Queensland Reds?

The club were the Western Reds from 1995-1997, the QLD rugby side existed then too didn't it?

I hardly think having clubs in other codes with the same name is a reason to change things up though.

iirc that was one of the reasons they moved away from the Reds name. West Coast Pirates is totally unique in Aus sport.

If we're gonna dig up old NBL teams, forget Canberra. Hunter WERE the pirates

But deceased NBL teams from Canberra or Newcastle are hardly relevant to a WA junior rugby league team

The Hunter pirates where the Canberra Cannons, when the Cannons went broke some time around 2002-2003 some bozo millionaire bought the Cannons license and moved them to Newcastle. I only remember this because of the outrage at the time, the millionaire (who's name slips my mind) promised Canberra he would not move the Cannons then as soon as he got his license he moved them to Newcastle.

Plus it is relevant because Lockyer4President! said the pirates brand was new to Australian sport when it is not. I just wanted to correct him so he did not inadvertently offend any of there old fans.

The socks (bar the 'PIRATES' down the back) are the same as the Western Reds socks from 1995-96. I like them and the shorts. The jersey could be so much better, but I'm sure I'll warm to it, just as I did the West Coast Pirates name. I think I dislike the gradient down the side panels the most.
