I was always under the impression that originally, leaving the stickers on was to show that you stole it. Regardsless, I think we can all agree that 95% of people who do it would have nfi why they are doing it, just following the crowd.

Nothing new, kids have been making stupid fashion statements forever. My generation tied grolsch bottle tops to their shoes for some reason!

Probably some American rapper left a sticker on and now everyone thinks its cool. Back to the role model and kids following the examples of people they idolise.

Just watching tonight's Crusaders v Blues Super rugby game.. and the Blues are wearing a harlequins-style quartered jersey!

The colours on the jersey representing the unions in the Blues - Northland's cambridge blue, Auckland's dark blue & North Harbour's dark crimson.

Sure Adidas have made a bit of a hash of it by adding stripes, little side panels & a silly crimson bit on the back.. but it's quite unique.

What does everyone else here think of quartered jerseys?

Would you like to see an NRL club use a quartered jersey as an away or alternate strip?

What club colours do you think would look good in that sort of design?

I saw it on the news last night and really liked it.

Quartered jerseys are very union, league doesn't often do them. But still, I think it looked great.

The Dragons are always wanting to something "gimmicky" for the Charity Shield to make money. I'd buy one if they did it one year.

p.s. Blues got five tries against the Crusaders. That is the first time the Crusaders have had more than four tries scored against them since 2005. Quite a record even though I'm not a massive union fan.

They suck.

Warriors with a big "N" while Cronulla has a big "S". Makes little sense. And why does Parra have '74 as the year on its sleeve? And Melbourne '09? And St.George-Illawarra '79? And Souths and Warrios '10? They're either inaccurate or just plain randpm. Either make it the year they entered or forget it.

Championship/premiership patches. Big in the states on these kind of jackets. Not sure on warriors patch. was thinking GF patch but that doesn't work for them.

Behind the scenes of team photo. Lightning bolt incorporated on socks as well but doesn't look as good as away socks.

Not a fan of vertical elements on socks but the socks and shorts are really the only places where lightning bolts will fit for the Storm. Jerseys are too tight and covered in sponsors to fit them any more.

I'm sure they'll come around after a year like the Broncos did.

I think you'll find that the yellow shorts weren't ready (new NRL badge) so they wore the maroon ones. I'll be happy if this proves not to be the case!

I wonder if Storm will pull out that white kit for Round 1 and we wear our red jersey?

Of course they have to release it after everybody buys the original one. Hmpf.
