The Roosters' away strip is still the white one. The hoops strip is a second alternate/heritage strip.

The White was our HERITAGE jersey in 2012 and became our official AWAY jersey for this season

It does bring me back to square one though. Why were the Roosters wearing their heritage jersey in an away game against the Raiders?

Raiders have a fair bit of white in their kit (shorts), so red was deemed the most contrasting strip?

And, heritage jersey should be a heritage jersey, not "ahh it's a sunny day, or umm our jerseys will look shit against them, we might were our heritage as an away/alternate/no reason jersey."

Should be one off for heritage week. Looking in your direction Auckland, roosters, cronulla and knights of last yeryear...
