Why can't those two Wests Tigers jerseys above be their only 2 jerseys?

Then why can't Westes Tigers choose the Balmain jersey for Home and Wests jersey as away for season 2013, and reverse it in 2014 and so forth.

For mine, since they are the Tigers, the orange and black looks wonderful.

This is interesting. The logos on the back and sleeves are a nice touch but as far as a "heritage" jersey goes it's a bit naff.

I always kinda liked the white early 80s Pioneer sponsored throwback jersey they used to have (with the gold eagle logo) and that one they used to trot out for Manly Vs Norths at NS Oval in the early to mid 90s was pretty good too.

A V design is just not suited to Manly (yes i know they use to wear it back in the 50's or 60's) the sooner they go back to the hoops design the better.

Agreed. Really, it just becomes another marketing cash grab.

Because Wests Tigers have said they want to create their own identity away from Balmain and Wests. Think that's due to the factional infighting that has plagued the club since the merger took place.

I think that's an admirable stance just wish their jersey designs were little childish and had a bit more of a traditional look a-la Cas Tigers last year.

Given that the Tigers get the moniker in the merger, its fair enough that the primary jersey should be black (with a reasonable amount of orange). Black jersey, white shorts, black/orange hooped socks.
