i don't like the st george jersey because it has a big red merkin on it and it reminds be of julia gillard, but then again, both of them are really useless.

You won't have to ever worry about someone stealing your class off you.

p.s. shut the f**k up with political shit - it's the jersey thread, not 4C.

Look at the disgraceful job CCC have done with the cotton Aus jerseys. They only had youth in stock (rebel) so I don't know if this same for adults, but look at the cotton jersey, logos in the wrong spots, uneven, wrong size, inaccurate sponsorship and the coat of arms badge sewed ontop of the jersey as a patch with rough edges (ALL the jerseys were like this).

Then compare it to the polyester youth jersey in the right dimensions, even, fully embroided. Same price too.

The cotton "classic" jersey has been deliberately designed like that. It is supposed to look rustic.

I might be biased, but Man U just tweeted this. Thank god it was our jersey and not some of the abominations like Tigers, Broncos, titans etc that would have looked embarrassing to a worldwide audience

Gigsy must have been well confused at the St George jersey

The team are called the Dragons like Wales, but they're named after the bloody English patron saint.

Still, it was good to see him interviewed at half time during State of Origin. Not many people know, his father was a Rugby League player playing five eighth for Widnes after transferring from Rugby Union.

Agreed that it looks bad but I though the replica stuff was unable to have the same badges and coat of arms like the authentic jersey

The home jersey won't change apart from very minor differences due to it being anew manufacturer. Although I would love a white collar and some red around the sleeves.

White collar
Red trim on sleeves
Two stripes down the side of the shorts
Candy cane hooped socks

pleeeeeeeease!

It also seems a trend that most ISC teams end up with another sponsor in the central neck position with ISC on top of the sleeves. I wonder if that will happen for us too?

The new Kangaroos design (shallower V, etc) doesn't have an old cotton jersey that can be replicated for the classic jersey. So they made it look rough and unpolished to give it a retro feel that is totally fake.

That makes no sense? Why can't they just make a cotton version of the current jersey, or replicate the previous jersey...why have one big logo, one little logo; one logo on the chevrons, one above; one embroided, one sewn on like a patch with rough edges?

Disgraceful.

Lucky I have my 2008 RLWC jersey. No sponsor (except on sleeves), cotton, good vee, good kangaroos logo. Perfect

Id just love to see the Dragons have a full V for once. The "red V" is a great image, its iconic, but their jersey is just so shit.

Even if they made the V shallower to do it. I know their Charity Shield jersey was not fantastic, but wasnt it nice to see them with an actual V jersey for once.

I do have just a little bit of hope that they will do it. ISC was the company that did the Roosters most resent jersey. Tell me you dont get the urge to rub on out when you see that jersey, it's just so perfect looking.

I don't know anything about what the new jersey, but Doust has said numerous times that our home jersey will be plain with a Red V. The rest is just wishful thinking from me.

It is hard to work an unbroken, thick Red V while keeping the sponsors happy. making finish higher would look strange. The Roosters jersey is great but their V's are thinner, rather than 1 thick V.

Looking forward to see what ISC do, their off field stuff has been first class at other clubs.

He knows because when Adidas decided that they wanted to change the look of the red V, the club told them to f**k off and went to Reebok instead.

Well obviously they wanted to differentiate between the "classic" jersey and the "heritage" jersey. The heritage jersey copies the design of the "replica pro" jersey, but adds a traditional yellow collar.

BTW, the cotton jerseys before CCC also put the coat of arms on a sewn-on, shield-shaped patch instead of embroidering it.
