Do any clubs do something like a badge draw at their games? Might be a way to get more members to more games. Doesn't need to be anything extravagant in terms of prizes. Meeting the players, signed gear, stuff from the team sponsors, etc.

Prometheus: I've received several emails from the Dragons offering me deals for sponsor companies as a Dragons member.

Broncos incorporate new offers as images in our members email that has our team for the week, game times, ladder etc.

It is not a stand alone 'spam' email.

Broncos Membermail is not obtrusive. You get the mail from a single source (laughably Sam Thaiday, I admit) and most of the information is club related. There are sponsor offers in there (eg. free movie nights etc) but that stuff doesn't come directly from the sponsor. Rather, the sponsor pays the Broncs who include the ad in their Bronco-sourced email.

Works well.

The Bulldogs do. I think the winner gets to sit in a special area or something. Never paid much attention, though I probably would if they chose me.

I would like to know the number of season ticket holders for each club. For mine that's a true indication of support for a team.

How do you figure that? Plenty of people can't commit to a full season. I got a 3 game membership because Manly only have 4 home games on Saturday or Sunday this year (to round 20) and I cannot get to weeknight games.

Not to mention I'm a Sharks supporter living in Melbourne...

Ouch. At least League Of Our Own played a role in forcing Neins hand into showing games on secondary channels. I do miss the Rising Sun etc now and then. Head to the Edinburgh Castle on Sydney Road for the roo burger!

I would include people such as yourself in "Season Ticket" numbers.

So you mean ticketed members, not season ticket holders. A lot of people have been asking for that but noone seems to be able to (or willing to) provide them.

I assume we cracked 200k today adding the increase in Manly/Dragon/Parra numbers along with the last updated total of 199,734. Reached 200k quicker than last year too which occur on April 5. Official statement should be from the NRL soon this week to confirm.
