Replaced the mugs in defence yet?

A real DM like Bender will plug the holes. A superstar forward like Sanchez will be the perfect outlet for Ozil. So we'll have the firepower to outscore the top teams.

With Walcott on one side and Sanchez on the other running behind the defense Ozil will have all the options in the world. Add the threat of Ramsey and Wilshere, backed up by the stability of Bender and we're a top 3 team.

Take Suarez's goals out and we still outscored you last season. Sanchez will only add 8-12 league goals.

I actually think you'll sneak back into the Top 3, if you can keep Walcott and Ramsey on the park. Your squad is easily better than Liverpool's.

 They've made no signings, we signed Lallana. As it stands we're better.

But a lot of transfer activity to be played out yet.

Sanchez and Debuchy are done deals. Suarez is gone.

IMO the powerrankings at present are:

1. MC
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
5. MU

Lallowning? lol

As it stands, you mean including the guy with a set of teeth out the door? I should clarify once Suarez leaves Arsenal will have a better squad.

There is no way Liverpool have a better squad than Arsenal, even with Suarez. The argument could be made they have a better first 11 (though I disagree), but Liverpool pretty much played 40 games last year, Arsenal would have played 60+, that's where squads come in to play.

Arseanl do have a better first 11 and squad, but that often counts for nothing, as seen last season. But there's a lot of transfer activity to be played out yet, let's judge the squads at the end of the window.

You not playing a striker?

Sanchez can play as a striker. Depending on the matchups sometimes we'll need Giroud and sometimes just going with Sanchez and Walcott as our forwards will be enough.

There's also talks of us being in the hunt for another forward like Remy or Bernard. And I also think Joel Campbell is ready to be a part of the squad.

Point is unlike last year, this year we should have the options to throw different things at different oppositions. Instead of having 1 senior striker and 1 genuine speedster in the squad where we had to play the same lineup against every good team.

Teams like City have 3 or 4 different ways they can set up their mids and forwards and we didn't have that. Hopefully now we will.

If Sanchez replaces carzola and bender replaces arteta then you will have the same options as last year.

Your big problem is Wilshire. Wenger wants to play him but his development has stalled and he is to injury prone. This means when he is fit he gets shoe horned into the team, usually on the wing where he is limited.
Walcott and Sanchez as the forwards would not work. You lack a forward to build around. You will end up using Ozil as that role, which he is not good at.
Or you play giroud and everything you said earlier goes to pot.

I would of thought Benzema would be a better target, especially if real get falcao.
Remy will join you lot. Him and Bernard are not top level though.

If you think Sanchez is a Cazorla replacement and Bender is an Arteta replacment you're crazy. Sanchez is a genuine wing/forward. Cazorla was a CAM put onto the wing because half our team are CAMs. Arteta is also not a natural holding mid. He'll be replaced by a real holding mid.

And Bender who? Reports are Khedira has rejected a 2 year extension from Madrid because we want to give him a major 5 year offer.

Replacing Sagna and signing Sanchez is just part 1. Don't be surprised if we're the biggest transfer market players this summer.

And on a very different topic. LVG is being talked about by United fans as a Supercoach. Yet there's reports nobody wanted to take the penalties and the first 2 blokes he asked refused. You'd think a pretty basic aspect of being a manager is getting your players to do the basics of their jobs as professionals. And that includes taking a penalty when told to.

I have a feeling he's just an insane version of Moyes rather than the next Fergie.

So a player who is a wing forward is not replacing the guy who plays as the wing forward for you?
Do you know what the world replacement means? Or options?

Bender was the last midfield saviour you were buying, you remember him from 2 posts ago? Doesn't matter which player you buy, the point still is if you play one of these in a midfield 3, your team has no forward.

Also yeah I think whichever player you buy as a defensive mid, will replace the guy you play as a defensive mid.

Crazy I know.

That's fine, you can have whatever feeling you want. Until he actually takes over no one knows.
With the Dutch squad he had a plan. That is one more thing than we had last year.
