No no no. I find there to be a difference between having a full first team playing an EPL game while physically fatigued, different to a manager sitting out players in relatively unimportant EPL games to prevent injury. If Chelsea hadn't f**ked up their title race, he may not have rested players at all, and Chelsea would have gone out to Anfield with a full first 11. That's why I find the 'you didn't have CL' excuse lame; it's just a cover up for Chelsea and Arsenal's own failings.
Chelsea were much more ready than Liverpool at the start of the season to at least come second, and they bottled it.

Juve have accepted a 32 mill + Evra bid (massive Juve fan)

And reports of a 47mill bid for Di Maria has been accepted, but nothing will happen till after the WC Final.

Very excited if true we could go straight back to being a contender if LVG can com up with a system for them all to play in.

I can't see MUFC winning even if they get all their targets. They're basically rebuilding their backs and midfield from scratch. There's no way that can gel into a champion team in the first season.

I find Liverpool to be in the same boat. I can't see them using the Suarez money to buy the same amount of quality. There's too many holes in their squad.

Khedira seems to be next on the shopping list for Gooners. Real Madrid has become our feeder team.

He has signed a long term contract, he is going nowhere even if we got relegated.

Neither of those are done deals yet.

Seriously, Liverpool are f**king geniused. We need a player like Di Maria, yet we do absolutely nothing about it and just let Utd jump in and sign him. What in the absolute f**k are BR and our scouts doing? It's all well and good signing this potential talent like Markovic and Origi, but it means nothing if we don't bring in players like Di Maria who can make an instant impact, because we can't bank on Markovic and Origi to replace Suarez's contribution on the field. They continually say, 'Liverpool can attract the best players' and bla bla bla, yet we find it impossible to sign ONE f**king marquee player.

Ian Ayre is hopeless at the negotiation table. He can strike up a corporate deal well, but when it comes to player transfers, forget about it. At the negotiation table, clubs like RM bring their club legends like Zinedine Zidane to help feed off an aura about the club. Meanwhile, we've got f**king Ian Ayre. Who the f**k is Ian Ayre!?

If Liverpool don't make the top 4 next season, they have no one to blame but themselves. So far, they have just sit back and let Utd just run around sign who they want. Unbelievable.

How about the holes in your defence...

We had a few bad games last season, but overall you still conceded more goals

You did score more goals, but now that Jaws is gone it's hard to see Liverpool repeating last seasons success.

As it stands now, I think Utd will take back their top 4 place at Liverpools expense, but that could change given theres a lot of transfer activity left

I'm not denying Liverpool's defensive flaws, I'm just pointing it out to BM. It could change, but yeah, right now we don't have a chance of getting that top 4 spot back. Something needs to be done.

A small amount of outliers greatly distorted our goals allowed tally. And we did it without any real holding midfielder in the squad.

Mertesacker, Koscielny and Gibbs are a great core to build our defense around. If we get the right RB to replace Sagna and most importantly a genuine class DM like Khedira I believe our defense will be good enough for a title contender.

And as for Liverpool, IMO selling Suarez isn't the make or break move. It's what they do with the money that is. You don't get a surplus of 75 million every day of the week. That's a one of jackpot and it needs to be invested wisely to give LFC the best chance possible of regular Champions League football.

So far there hasn't been any signs of that but there is still plenty of time left.

They are in the 4 now, it's much easier to stay in the 4 than it is to get there in the 1st place. They have to do everything possible to make last season their new norm.

If we don't spend it all on bloody young up and coming potential stars, I'll be happy. They need to show intent. Miss out Sanchez? Fine, move on to the next big target.

Mate you came 7th for about three years in a row and have been out of the top 4 for years and you expect you can just jump in front of a club like Man Utd etc to sign players because of one good season? If players want constant champions league places Liverpool isn't a club you go to, they have just lost their best player and it will be near impossible to pull off again this year. Players like Di Maria don't care that Liverpool won titles 30 years ago

Can't argue with any of that hell team. Alot of Liverpool fans have unrealistic expectation of us in every transfer window. Squad is still along way away from being in good enough shape to just add one world class player. We have to be smart with the Suarez $$$

Luis wasn't WC when we signed him, neither was Torres, Alonso, Owen. Someone will hopefully step up like many before them in Red have in leading our strike force.
